    Sorry JT I couldn't help it, its just my nature.
    Much as I would like to give my own jovial interpretation I dare not on fear of a good lashing from the likes of Sheika Helen!

    I'm surpised the likes of KEDPSD & SCAB haven't done so already or is that holding a red rag to a bull !

    Its not just Dubia, this conduct info is good for all the Middle eastern countries, though some are very strict, there are also a few which are more liberal, but you should also remember that you are a visitor in these countries too and that the cultural structures run very deep and over many years. enjoy the sun and dont get caught messing around.. :-)

    maybe you could post it too the scottish sorry, british goverment and point out that other countries find it acceptable to reinforce their culture and customs, and yet we bend over and drop all vestige of self protection to the self same people.
    do we not have/had a very old culture that was the envy of the world and long held traditions.
    whats good for the goose, is good for the gander, surely.

    Ah you mean traditions like Friday night curries, driving a VW Golf, watching a Sony TV or going out for a spin on your Kawasaki bike for a trip to Starbucks or a Haagen Daz

    But you just proved my point thanks ;
    We gave it all away, and got no thanks in return.

    Lads have lived and worked in Dubai for the past three years, the police are well on side. Just don't take the piss.
