    Default Shooting ranges in Israel

    Share
I'm travelling to Israel soon and I was wondering if anyone knows any shooting ranges open to public which has assault weapons on offer. I live in Croatia and here I am almost all the time limited to practice with handguns. I view my visit to Israel as a nice opportunity to, if not actually train (won't be staying long), then to familiarize myself with weapons like the Uzi, Galil and the like.
Alternatively, maybe someone knows a training provider that holds short (one to three days) courses in firearms... That intel would also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any information provided.

Go to Herzeliyya, a few km from Tel Aviv. Any taxi driver will show you the Olympic shooting range there, it is right next to one of the main shopping malls in Herzeliyya Central. They have a good range there, and a great instructor called Adam. They have Uzi, etc. There are a couple of other good instructors also, one near the West Bank where you can fire M16's, AK, and I also saw that he had the 12 gauge AK firing shotgun shells on AK platform. If you are very interested I can dig you up their contacts, send me an email.

Thanks; I suppose he is at the Olympic shooting range at Herzeliya? I'll be in and around Tel Aviv in less than three weeks, I'll give him a call before that.

Maj Doron stays out in the West Bank area. At the Herzeliyya shooting range, ask for a man called Mirza. Either of them will assist, and while you are there, if you need anything drop me a pm, there are some great guys there.
