Hello everyone, If anyone finds themselves in North Carolina, or needs help with anything US related, drop me a line, I would be glad to help any ex RMP. Alternatively we have a very active RMPA USA branch which is very helpful, and I am also a member of the International Police Association (USA Branch), which is another good resource for anyone thinking of moving to the US. Regards, SB
Guys Some or most of you may recall the series they done on the Redcaps in 95 or 96. I am enquiring to see if anyone is aware of where to obtain a copy of the programme or any info as to how i go about it. I have spoke to a couple of cameramen that were there, however they have come up with nothing so far. I have contacted the producer of the programme but have had no response and the BBC and still waiting. Maybe someone still serving could assist. Much appreciated. Dan D
This is a belated reply however you can get a copy of ebay thats where i got mine
Hi Guys, spent the last ten years working for companies that cover you with their insurance, now its time to strike out on my own but cant get an insurance company to touch us. As soon as you mention work in a foriegn country carrying a weapon of any kind (i think some would object to a spud gun, even with permission of that country) they either run a mile or are quoting amounts that would make the Greek dept look small. Ive tried quotes without the weapon issue but again "security in foriegn country" "No bloody way mate" seems to be the standard line... So if any of you out there have cover of your own for armed work overseas? If so, i would really be grateful for any leads... Cheers...
