Maybe try Frontier Medical or I.S.O.S they seem to be quite big players in remote medic work.
Good luck

Hey keep an eye out for ireland ...gov finally thinking of getting their act together and doing a air ambulance ..i know i could go on and on about the state of the system here but thats another story !! anyway air ambulance suppose to be here soon ...so a guy of your experience should have no probs ....coastguard winchmen just went from emt`s to para`s a year ago !!...just a thought..if you fancy the emerald isle
Thanks Scott. My CV's in with both of those players but have heard nothing positive in return yet.
Dgrant, you're not wrong, it is the same job in a different uniform but it would be a change of scenery.
Looking good for an OSM course with Exmed. I pass the entry criteria and as said before it incorporates the MIRA, PHTLS and eACLS tickets.

Remember there's always private ambulance work to keep the money coming in while you wait mate. PM me if you need some contacts
Scott
Thanks Scott. I appreciate that.
Gents, something I may have overlooked on my list of quals to get is the NEBOSH ticket as a lot of OSM adverts (for example on mcl-medics) specifically require one. My question is, can it be the NEBOSH General Cert or does it have to be NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety.
Dry subject I know but would appreciate it if anyone has some inside info. Many thanks.
Hi Winchman, I have just secured a Maritime post as a Medic on a seismic survey vessel, I have the NEBOSH National General Cert which they were happy with , best thing to do would to email potential Rig Employers asking which NEBOSH they require .Good Luck
Winchman
Normal NEBOSH Gen will be enough. Oil and Gas Cert is only slowly comming into play at the moment.
Thanks folks.
