    Default Intorduction/seeking employment

    Share
Its now becoming a regular thing on this page, ie poor introductions and people asking for employment opportunities.

Nearly all who post here are either just out of the Forces, Police or civilian seeking a new career change OR have just completed there Close Protection course.

Now it must be me, but I know when I completed my CP Course not once was it mentioned that you just randomly just ask for a job. Just because this is an open forum why is this any different than it would be if you are approaching any potential employer, you wouldn't just send them a 5-6 line intro with numerouus spelling mistakes in would you, yet on here hundreds seem to think its acceptable and then when pointed out go on about why they are slated and how they can't get work.

Your CP course provider im sure DID NOT teach you this, I'm sure like mine, they conducted training interview sessions an basic CV writing. And how you should approach potential employers etc.

Well on this forum there are just those, ie potential employers looking for professional individuals. And that means yes they look at introductions and they look at profiles , so lets act alittle more like the potential CP operator that was sat in that class room being taught the basics of this industry and not some ignorant arse who thinks because he/she is now SIA licensed that makes you exempt from conducting yourself professionally.
