Done a shed load of courses including, Hostile Enviornment Close Protection, Medicine In Remote Areas (MIRA), First Person On Scene Intermediate (FPOSi), Ship Security Officer (SSO), Maritime Security Operatavie (MSO) and STCW 95 (all 4 modules). I am now looking for employment and would appreciate any steers, contacts or advice. Please view my profile for a better idea of who I am and my experience. Can someone help?
Do you have any contact who you served with doing marsec? The industry is very much who you know not what you know that gets you your first break.
Remember all someone can do is give you an opportunity, it's what you do with that opportunity. Good work comes from good work. Contact you pick up along the way etc.
On here there is a section for regiments and so on check in on there and look for any old friends.
Best of luck,
Thanks for the reply. I am confident once I have done that first job I will be o.k as I am easy going and hardworking. Trouble is most people I know are either new or just a team member. Thanks for the response though.
