    Share
Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find details of security companies which have had their servers hacked?

    Many thanks in advance RyanH0039

    You'll be lucky !

Not that I doubt it's happened, it's just that I cant imagine many companies owning up to it, and highlighting their own deficiencies.

I have two list, one of all the ones I know who have been hacked and one of the companies that have yet to correct the issue and still have a back door. You can come get a copy if the price is right.

oooh my gosh, an actual geeky thread. One of which perked my interest.

Britam Defence , theres one. By an asian hacker last year, quite fitting really as disclosed some information about the USA planning on framing Syria for chemical attacks back in January, it was hacked christmas time and they retrieved a email sent christmas day. This was detailing a plan. They wouldnt do that would they?!

Your best friend will be google, in this instance.

Ivan can we compare lists ;-)

But I do have to ask, why do you want to know such things?

That hack with BD was the only outside source that confirmed the US intel when they followed the chems from Iraq to Syria and then the US "Claimed" they lost track of it for a short time. After BD was hit all that chem stuff went silent for a while. Nice to see someone else has a memory as well in Defense affairs. LOL Funny how LAN has stayed out of it the whole time, guess they too know its BS.

I do not need the list, the poster of the thread wants it. Most likely for some profitable racket and not just knowledge. Thats why vulnerability listing are created isn't it? LOL

    Hello to you.
Thats just what I thought. I was asked the question and so needed to ask, knowing that it was highly unlikely that I'd get a detailed response!

    Thanks for replying anyway

    Hello Christina.
Many thanks for this. First time Ive ever been referred to as a geek, but nice in a way. I couldn't find anything out via Google, but I did try. In terms of why the question a security provider for a client was hacked and the client wanted to know what other companies had been.

    Thanks for your response.

very glad to see that someone considers "Geeky" to be a positive thing :-)

over in the USA - I believe that StratFor was hacked. They do global intel.
Various DoD facilities and contractors have been hacked - more than they would care to admit.
and quite a few banking systems have been compromised.

I'm not sure it's a complete loss of face to be hacked. Let's face it - the Chinese and Russians are doing some pretty sophitisticated hacking. they are no slouches - probably some of the best in the world.
it's dog eat dog out there.

    cheers,
    KL
