CSG had some great Operators, and they had some cowboys who thought they were great Operators! LOL.

Most of the articles about CSG came from that dumbass Scott. He wanted a spotlight on everything! I agree that the rolling stones article was over the top and didn't help operators in Iraq. A lot of CSG Operators were embarrassed by Scott quite often, but what could we do?? I know that anytime another company or military convoy was in trouble, we stopped to help. Or at least my team did.

    Guys stay safe!

If they still operating in Iraq then they are doing it illegally & under the radar as Crescent are not on the MOI approvaed Contractors list...

    Default exCSGoperator

Last time I checked, Franco Picco and a small italian team were operating from Camp Midica or Tillil. Not sure of the spelling of either one of these bases...sorry! I'm not sure if they are still there or not though. They were still running a food contract with the Italians last i heard.

I was with the company when Roger Smith was bumped out by Wolf Weiss. For what it's worth, Wolf was a good man, and a very competant, highly trained operator. The company durring the times I was there has a mix of "western" operators and Nepali Gurkha's...The company took a serious nose dive after Wolf was killed. Franco unfortunately put his faith into a person that was not qualified at all to direct the company's operations in the field (which was ultimately the reason I left the company). If anyone want's more info about the former Crescent Security Group please contact me.

One other note to add...I have personally seen the video of the incident that took Wolf's life. I would never second guess him but he was operating in a dangerous area in hours of darkness which was not a good idea to begin with. That being said, I'm sure he had his reasons and knew the risks.
PhoenixDelta, I remember you! You shot (ND) yourself in the leg, went back home with a wild war story played a Hero and used that story to get some kind of public office position in your town. And if I remember right you left because of personal issues with the Director, wasn't it due to the fact that he wouldn't let you go on any missions with a weapon? Not to mention none of the other operators would accept a mission with you due to your ND. As for anyone contacting PhoenixDelta regarding CSG, be advised he only has a few weeks with CSG and ask yourself why his only gig (short lived) was with CSG.
