Having spent considerable time working with NGO's in Afghanistan I'd say that "Yes" of course there are some that live in a dream world but for the most part they do listen to what you have to say and actually most of the NGO security managers are pretty switched on.
What you have to take...
There are some skype communitys where you can connect with native speakers, swap English learning for Arabic etc...... I got myself a tutor some years back, a Syrian guy in London, charged me £20 an hour and he got me reading and writing within a month or so.... I then went off to Cairo for 3...
Guys, so far I have received about 50 CV's for the post, this would normally be great..... however only 3 have any watch-keeper / Op's room experience. As the post states
"You must have previous watch-keeper experience and must have worked in an Op's room in a hostile environment"
This means...
A watch-keeper is required for a small contract in Kabul. The rotation is 60 in 30 out, $400 a day. This is a nice little contract for someone with the correct experience.
You must have previous watch-keeper experience and must have worked in an Op's room in a hostile environment, preferably...
Sandancer is right on this one, the Disclosure Scotland report is a detailed report regarding your criminal record and covers all regions of the UK. The report is even recognised by ISAF for badging requirements in Afghanistan. Far quicker and easier than applying at a local police station.
The only people I know who drink out of bottles using a straw are about 5 years old.... this seems like a bit of a daft product, not just because it's wasteful but generally speaking people drink out of a glass. I think keeping an eye on your drink would be a better option, alternatively the...
Try giving the friendly rep at the Kabul based Ministry of Interior a call, I'm sure he will be more than forthcoming in answering all your firearms permit based questions.

The photos and diagrams appear as Greyscale images in good quality, I think there will probably be a whole...

The charger is just a wire with a USB at either end.... you don't need to have a laptop or a hard disk either, books are delivered wirelessly over Wi-fi or 3G connection.
All the books you buy are backed up online, If you lose the device then you can just download them all again....
What could...

And yes there are an abundance of reference books...
The vehicles they drive around in have a big company emblem stuck to the front window so they are already saying "please come and hit me" anyway.... and guess what, they do get hit pretty often to!
Not worked for them myself, however I know several that have. They certainley don't have a good reputation, expect low pay and long rotations etc.
I often see them cutting about in Kandahar in battered old vehicles.... they look kind of shoddy to me....... but hey, that's just my opinion for...
