I'm a former police with Special Weapons experience (including Sniper/Observer) and with counterterrorism and force protection qualifications.     Hi there M4MED..i have held my Paediatric first aid qualification since late 2008 but as of yet, not been able to gain employment. Would you know of any companies that are looking for qaulified CP's with this qualification along with FAAW. Thanks in anticipation...........buzz

    hi M4MED.. Iam after a bit of advice, I servied 8 years with the RA first with 4/73 OP bty then commando lot. got out 05 and got on the circuit with two big ish firms in Iraq for 20 months. I did mil first aid BCDT, NI team medic and med week on 4/73 selection, I did a CP course and was deployed within 48hrs. In iraq I did a US team medic course and other bits and bobs of training with are 18 D guy that was on are team. Iam now back in the sunny north east and at present about to go into my 3rd year on a adult nursing course with a view to start down the A and E path I am also the team medic (1 years) on the local mountin rescue team, the MR team also covers for the local amb service in remote areas on the first responder programe and members do 12 hrs attachments on the fast responder cars. AS well as that Ive joined the TA med lot to try and get on BATLs but to no aval as iam not a qualed nurse (shite). so I write to you for help whats shall I do next courses/direction. Iam on ATLS next week, do I wait until qualed and do offshore para, PHTLS??? the reason is that I want to return as a CP medic. I have sent my personal email to your admin addie on your site your advice would be grand mate
