  • Hello Ram Man.

I saw your reply to Bootneck7, from last year.
I got a question for you. I am a Ducth Marine and I did a UK CP course.
To work for UK companies you need an SIA license.
For what I know (knew) you need to be a US citizen to work for US companies.
How did you managed to get a job for a US company?

    Thanks.
    Regards aye.

    Gerben.

Hi Ram, thanks for the advice. As a newbie (officially) am struggling totally to get anywhere with regards to interest. Have approached the big boys looking for a junior position just to bump up the experience levels but no joy as yet. With the course in July costing £3k this is turning into a bit of a mare. Keep up the decent posts and cheers for adding me

Just a quick one buddy, not on SIA till end June. As a guy who has been about (no offence) which are the best companies to approach for overseas without SIA for the time being? cheers
    Dan (silent)
