Hi Dave,

We are based in Bristol and mainly cover London and the South but are able and happy to undertake surveillance work anywhere providing that it's legal to do so.
The Surveillance Team - Introduction

I know you are already a member but we set up a new and hopefully useful Network purely for those Organisations and Individuals that are engaged in a freelance/full time Surveillance capacity. It is still in its infancy - but numbers are gradually increasing and I am hoping that A2A Networking will become the norm .

Recruiting

Gents,

I am currently receiving a lot of speculative CV's, although it is flattering that people may want to be employed by us it is obvious that some basic research has not been completed. Veritas NI, we are a Northern Ireland based company and in the main operate in NI and RoI. Many of the CV's are from mainland based personnel who I presume will not be moving over here.

I would like to thank everyone for their interest but ask that they do not send a CV unless we advertise a vacancy. If we do have a position become available this is the first place we will post. Take care and good luck to those seeking employment.

Regards

Dave

I understand you completey Dave. We too receive unsolicited c/v's and , as you say, flattering though it may be, we would prefer not to be approached until we post positions. At least an hour of my day is spent replying to such mails (I believe it only polite to do so) when frankly, i have a mountain of other things to do.

We also receive numerous such emails despite the fact that the conditions for application are made perfectly clear on the dedicated recruitment page of our website.

As surveillance is all about attention to detail and observational skills - any unsolicited emails that arrive in my in box are deleted without further attention.

This thread is really starting to bear fruit....

....my contact list is starting to get well populated and hopefully as and when an enquiry drops through my door that is out of my usual geographic working location, I'll be easily able to contact a "friend" and get the job done.

Good drills lads

I agree, I will copy and paste what I put in the other thread...

I am coming from an investigations and Surveillance background (7 yrs [wiki=1470]Rmp[/wiki] with 3 yrs covert policing) and want to transfer my skills/quals/knowledge/experience to civvy street.

I really enjoy investigation work and want to keep doing it for as long as I have 2 legs, lol. I also want to get into [wiki=1469]CP[/wiki] some time too.

I have spoke to quite a few really nice people on here and had assistance of various members in helping me to prepare for civvy street.

Hopefully I will get to meet some of you from time to time and maybe even work with you.

Cheers

Mike

Been doing surveillance for a very large Corperate business women abroad and back in the mainland, and a large very well known power Company. Would like to work and network with other operators and Companys working in this field. I have experiance in Northern Ireland in Overt surveillance and Bosnia in Covert and search and arrest operations within the military. I live in the Cambridge area and would consider working anywhere where the work takes me. Im very trustworthy, discete, professional.

Would it be possible to create a map with flagged operators dotted in the appropriate area a bit like the house hunting maps on 'Nestoria'
Then every one could post their contact details and operational skills just for CPW.
Charge a fee or not, we can then call up an area and see who's available locally, nationally etc.
I'm sure its easier said than done. But anyone else got thoughts on this one.

I Like Oddjobs' idea too, I would certainly be interested in any developments of this. I am based in the NW myself but will travel pretty much anywhere. Local knowledge is always useful though.
