After picking the brains of those who are experienced in Advanced driver Training. I'm shortly returning to the UK and looking at completing an Advanced Driving Course, Im looking for a recognised course that is recommeded and with good rep.

Any information is much appreciated.

I have the ONLY internationally accredited Security Driving Qualification, this qualification is recognised in OVER 80 countries.

We currently have a 50-50% candidate split from SIA licensed CPO's and full time professional chauffeurs. The qualification has become the benchmark in security driving.

Just to make sure you are fully aware of the qualifications available to candidates for driving:

BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Advanced Driving - is from RoSPA, irrespective of Bronze, Silver or Gold grade.
(Security Chauffeur College - requirement each candidate to be successful in achieving a SILVER grade).

BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Security Chauffeuring - ONLY available from the Security Chauffeur College.

The Security Chauffeur Course, is not an attendance course, there is a pre-coure handout with 2 separate open book tests.

We give out the only security driving course notes!

This course combines the training objectives of the following courses:

1. Police National Protection Driver Course
2. Royal Military Police – Close Protection Unit – Protective Mobile Skills Course
3. Defence Attaché Protective Driving Course
4. Defence Staff Car Basic Course
5. Defence Staff Car Advanced Course

Our instructors are subject matter experts, several of our instructors are former Metropolitan Police Driving School Hendon Instructors. Founding members of the Police National Protection Driver Course. Individuals with over 15 years experience in driver training and especially security driver training.
