Another Bogus Company

I had the misfortune to be a part of the heirachy of this company for 3 short or long months depending on your point of view. I was given a nice title, travelled to nice places and some not so nice all in the name of company relations and trying to establish a footprint. I should have been more aware and heads up on the scenario rather than the pay packet and I admit that was my fault, however this company is still pushing its website (which I wrote and designed by the way), taking deposit cash for courses and promising the world...all in near future. Anyway my colleague and I (both directors) finally woke up and smelt the coffee, the CEO was living on a financial knife edge and we resigned together with a training manager..in short he had now had no leadership and its all collapsed around his ears. What I do know is that many guys are trying to get on the ladder and are still replying to ad's, handing over deposits and getting nothing by return. All attempts to get a refund are being fobbed off, my colleague and I both have legal cases pending to get what is still owed to us but that is another story. So who are they? Titan Defence Services thats who. Training facilities...non existant! contracts...non existant, expertise...to the best of our knowledge non existant, registered as a training provider...no, registered with the SIA...no, trading ...allegedly yes so beware guys. I have no qualms at mentioning the company by name as my legal issues are underway with more pending from others. I hope this notification helps by identification and prevents guys paying out good hard earned cash for nothing in return. I thank CPW for having a Walt Forum as the CEO is definitely living in another world.

Remember, never hand money over to anyone, including Companies!! The bigger they are the harder to get your money back!!
 
Not to confuse with Titan Corporation.
They are big players with security contracts over 2BILLION $'s.

( as any BIG player, they have their share of " negative publicity " ( ref. Abu Graib ) )
 
Mate, sorry to hear of your troubles with this. Before entering into any undertaking it is always best to check out the others involved if you don't know them personally (and sometimes if you do !). This isn't too difficult online these days and I have no doubt that you won't be caught again. Good luck.

Bob,..they are still trading. Web site is still up and current.The claims they make should be referred to the ASA as well as Trading Standards.
