Any Hostile environment CPOs here?

Hello everyone!

I'm currently in the British Army as a reconnaissance dismount in the RAC.

My CP badge expired a few years ago but as I am leaving the forces soon I will be renewing my badge, getting my FPOSi or FREC sorted and also planning on getting a HECPO course done.

I will be looking for hostile environment CP/PMC work but thought it best to start looking and networking now.

If anyone could point me in the right direction or has any tips that would be amazing, Cheers!

P.S. Is there anything like this in the South America area as I speak fluent Spanish.

Hi Mate,

Look at companies in Iraq like GardaWorld, G4S, Olive Group and Al Hurea. You might have to start on oil and gas and make your way to diplomatic. Many companies are also positioning for the reconstruction boom in Ukraine Control Risks has a presence there.

For most of them you shouldn't need a full HECPO course, so to get slick on the different weapon systems doing like a 2-3 day combined firearms course would be enough and will save some dollars or ELCAS to spend elsewhere.

Legend, thanks for that bud!

I'll definitely look into Olive group and Al Hurea as I've not heard of them, I was told that I am best working for an Iraqi company first to get 6 months under my belt and get boots on the ground and move up from there?

Reference oil and gas do you know what companies have these kind of contracts?

As for the HECPO course I'll look into the firearms courses if you think that's a better shout that the full HECPO and like you say spend my ELCAS elsewhere.

Massive thanks!

Afghanistan is pretty much closed due to taliban overtake. Iraq is still open though. There are also some African projects, Israel / Lebanon, and some sec ops in Ukraine (however unarmed in a warzone) not that great. I have sent medical supplies there and also have contacts for drivers but it is voluntary job and pocket money unless you run a huge youtube channel and gain funds.
There are of course bigger chance for the big 5 english speaking countries. Wages have dropped, and rotations are not that great.
I am not working with hostile gigs these days I am now looking after rich annd famous people. However I did 6 HE contracts Iraq Afghanistan but also remote security work in Saudiarabia. But with the threat of war in Europe there could be other jobs like security management, coordinator roles, instructors , medic positions, their military contacts are more important then security poc. The wages are also not what we used o have. There are lots of east europeans that works for less, and of course the nepaleses. Some companies offers from 2500 USD-10.000USD a month but the guys I used to be in contact with was around 5-6000 USD doing 3 months in and 1 month out. UN have CP/PSD units in Israel/Gaza, EU delegation have also CP/PSD work...it used to be Page who was running that, if they are still there now I dont know.
