I am not really surprised, but it seems that this had been happening for a prolonged period of time and was well known about.

The key question here is how will the SIA and Police deal with this.

Will the venue receive a summary fine then business as usual?
Will the individuals and managers from the security element have there licences revoked?
Will lessons actually be learned and changes actually implemented?

Will the individuals and managers from the security element have there licences revoked? Once an enquiry is completed lessons can be learned. Managers and DS's involved should have their licences revoked. Included in this may well be the company too. Are criminal proceedings likely as CCTV coverage and possibly statements of members of the public will probably be available?
