Dear Security Professionals,

To those of you with several years’ experience in the Security Industry you may be interested to learn of a Counter Terrorism Practitioner Certification course to be delivered in the UK between 18th and 20th July 2017.

The certification package is aimed at mid to senior level security professionals and requires an element of preparatory work plus 3 day attendance at a UK learning centre followed by exam. If passed successfully the individual may carry the post nominal “CCTP†(Certified Counter Terrorism Practitioner) evidencing the fact that the individual has gained a good understanding and is knowledgeable in matters pertaining to those expected of a Counter Terrorism Practitioner.

The course is being delivered by a highly respected and former member of one of the World's Secret Services and VIP Protection Units who was also the Chief Instructor and Department Head of the Bomb Security Department. He has been responsible for the training of hundreds of Security Professionals around the globe and is now pleased to be delivering the first CCTP course to be made available in the UK.

Hi,

From the title it sounds like an interesting course and may be of use as part of one's CPD.

Is there a pre read?

How is the course run? Is it just powerpoint or is the course a mix of discussion, small group work, presentations, course work etc?

Is there anyone on this forum who has done this course and can comment on it?

Thanks
