Does anyone have any clarity on how the contract award is progressing for this.
There was a shout out for staff on the CPW facebook page last week but I feel it may have been premature.....

Led to believe that there are 19 companies who have been asked to sign up to the framework agreements, however it looks as if individual contracts have not yet been awarded for venues. All the newspapers seem to be saying the same thing. Interesting to note is that the armed forces are to be used again.

For some of the core roles, they have advertised openly across professional networks. I've had job specs for Security Director, Security Training Manager, Security Team Leader etc. Looking at the spec and the experience/qualifications they want, they're taking the roles seriously.

The CEO, David Grevemberg, trains at my local BJJ club. He's a switched on guy.

G4S, we will not be bidding to join the Security Guarding framework, choosing instead to focus our attentions (if chosen) on Safety & Stewarding

So how do we find out who the CP contractors covering this event are?
