I am currently looking to recruit 4 Security professionals to support my key client based in the Basingstoke area. The role is covert in nature and requires extensive travel through the UK and Europe primarily.

Is the position PAYE or subcontractor?
What is the rate of pay?

Hi Premier,

The positions are permanent posts, full or part time (can be flexible). I work for the Compass Group and supply security services (including manned guarding) as an outsource service provider to a large corporate client.

Rate is £9.55 per hour from departure to return. primary function is to escort and monitor high value items in transit (discretely), or hand carry items on flights etc.

It is indeed taking the piss,
It looks like 14forty has stopped posting here, I did say the calibre of staff £9.95 would attract would be less than desirable, needless to say I haven't had anymore contact.
That said the positions may have been filled.

This type of pay for what could be fairly dodgy work, is one of the reasons I didn't bother to renew my CP badge.

Some mug will do it 'to get their foot in the door'

Your right some mug will do it, but they make a rod for their own back.
In taking a job paying peanuts you are in fact making a monkey of yourself telling people you will work for that rate means you value yourself at that rate and next time out the offer may be even less per hour.
