5km hill reps on running machine (fast pace down hill, moderate up)
45 mins upper body.

Day off today for the k9 mucker
rest day for me tommorro:cool:

j20,

I am finding it hard to eat the right stuff as I am quire partial to the odd chinese and chocolate bar.

any ideas?
If you want to stop eating it enough and eat healthy and just cut out the unhealthy stuff. Honestly I don't really have any quick cure recommendation to stop you eating treats, maybe just limit yourself to just one fav meal a week say on a sat night, and keep the rest of the week healthy. Have your last meal say whatever you want as much carbs as you can and a small desert of 300 calories.

A quick recipe for good healthy balanced carb intake :)
100g of sweet potato
As much Broccoli as you want
Green pepper
150g of lean chicken
Cinnamon, mixed spice, Worcester sauce

Season chicken (cut into with diagonal slices) with mixed spice and worcester sauce & garlic and place under grill (make sure its cooked thoroughly)
Cut potato thinly in to slices, dust with a good helping of cinnamon
put on grill and turn regularly until cooked ( takes 10 mins on george forman)
Steam broccoli and green pepper

Place broccoli and peppers on plate, chicken on top and potatoes on the side

Contains 46.7 g of protein in total
and 21.3 of carbs

:) enjoy

Found an excellent 14 mile route in North Wales and tried it out for the first time yesterday.

Alwen / Llyn Brenig Reservoirs virtually a tarmac route, undulating and in a few places (not to much) off road.

It was excellent for the dogs and afterwards I cycled the route again.

Perfect for my training preparations, as there is also a 7 mile route around just the Lyn Brenig Reservoir.

Heading back Monday for some more as the will be less snow.

10.5 around the Lyn Brenig reservoir in North Wales, weather bad and wind made it impossible to run on some occasions.

25 days until my first race in Stafford to which I should be ready for......he says!!!

Super Superset!

If you want a quick blast at the end of any kind of training session or if you just have 10 minutes or so available then try these

Front Squat Thrusts x 15
Weighted Chins x 15
FST's x 12
WC's x 12
FST's x 9
WC's x9

Done as quickly as you can although you may need to rest, you can rest at anytime during or in between sets. Superb combined exercises that give you a total body workout & exhausts your energy systems. Obviously can be altered to suit. Enjoy :p
