I am looking for a little advice please Ladies and Gentlemen.

It's a time-line 'thing' really...

When I discharged from the Military one would receive a 'Discharge Certificate' or a 'Discharge/Transfer to the reserve' Certificate.

What does the MOD issue to the Navy, Royal Marines, Army or RAF/RAF Regiment now in 2009..?

Thanking you ex Regs in anticipation...

Think its something similar which is contained with a range of other information including your testimonial in what is now an A4 Red folder.

Hi Carl.

Currently, Army leavers receive a 'Certificate of Service' which includes your personal details, ranks attained, decorations medals awards and recommendations, and a competency profile (courses attended).

This information is correct as of May '09 (that's when I received mine anyway).

I hope this helps.
