Ok, just got directed to this on the SIA website. Basically it means (correct me if I'm wrong!), that anyone in the ROI who holds a Private security license can register, FOR FREE, with the SIA and work freely in the North....
I can't find evidence of a reciprocal arrangement which allows an SIA license holder from the North, to register with the PSA in ROI and work freely.
Now again, correct me if I'm wrong, but does that stink from the high heavens of discrimination and break loads of freedom of movement of work?? On the Irish side of course.
Discuss!!!!
