The funeral is tomorrow in Cloughoge chapel outside Newry. Jim was cremated in Thailand with his Austrialian colleague. A number of ex military friends are attending the funeral at 'home'. Sad times, good friends and camerades will be there.

An amazing man, the love of my life. I have gained so much strength from Jim, no person has made a greater impact on my life. My hero.
Jim was cremated in Phuket in the company of some of his closest mates. To clear any confusion for the sake of those who knew Jason (which I am sure originated from an incorrect newspaper article), Jason's body was sent back to Australia and not cremated in Thailand.
 
Shannon, I'm with Jemo and the boys now in N. Ireland. We're off to say goodbye to Jim in about 10 minutes. Jim was and still is a hero.

Totally gutted for you Andy. Never good to hear news of this nature, especially form one who was close. If poss, please send condolences to friends and family.
