If anyone could help with my queries that would be great!
I’m interested in CViT work, but as of yet not quite old enough, but not too long to go before I can apply. I work as an engineer and basically hate my job and can’t wait to try and get out of it. I’ve been interested in CViT work for a while but my age has always been a bar for recruitment.
Anyway......I understand that some of the questions may not be able to be answered due to the security of this particular sector, so don’t worry if you can’t answer any. For those who know or are working within the CViT sector in the UK, I know how to apply but that is really all I do know.
· What sort of training will I undertake and how is it usually taught?
· If I do get into the sector and do pass everything, what is the day to day job of a CViT guard?
· Are CViT security guards? Or what are they defined as?
· What are the stresses of the job, are they any down sides to the job (apart from being robbed I should imagine)?
· Are they any best bits to the job?
· What are the usual working conditions?
· Are CViT represented by a union of some sort? If so what sort of things do they represent?
· Also what happens if I get injured (or the worst case scenario)?
I would really appreciate any advice and am happy to answer any questions too.
