Alright everyone i wanna ask if anyone knows about Ronin uk company, i want to do a course so i can hopefully get work in hostile environments is this the best course to do and do other companies look at Ronin grads as good employees to take on

thanks

If you use the search facility provided you should be able to get the information that you require

Good luck

i worked with a couple of guys in afghanistan who had done that course, so i dont see thee being any problems, in my experience, if youve done one of the obvious cp courses, most companies will look at you. for HE they generally need more ex military background than anything else, and i know for a fact that quite a few of my counterparts within the company in eye-raq had never even done a recognised course never mind held an sia licence.

thanks for that, do you think that the fact ive been out of the infantry for 8 years is a disadvantage when it comes to me doing H.E work

nope, my last contract (with ag/g4s) there were guys whod been out longer, ex police officers in their 40's + and people who had got military exp but not inf, its a lottery mate, all about timing and face fitting unfortunately.

adamf8194, that is just the best news I have heard all day, damn all year! I have been looking for a contract hard out for the last month, and at 41 and out of the army for 15 years I was starting to think it may never happen.

Cheers mate!

not a problem although i will say that you shouldnt take it as read that i am guaranteeing youll get employed, im just stating facts as they stand. like i say, im not too sure sometimes on how they decide who gets the jobs (considering some of the operators ive seen) but what i said previously is true. you have just as much of a chance as most in my opinion.

however, further to that, i will also say that a few of the older guys have been doing this since it kicked off (ie 2001-2003) but there have been some older chaps turning up since i was on contract (oct 07)

i hope you get a job my friend, i really do.

Hi gents , sorry to piss on the parade so to speak , but the general rule nowadays is that recent military experience is required (last 5 years) , and in that relevant deployment experience.
A lot of the old guys you worked with in AG were most likely old sweats who had been on AG or other companies books in the past, I know for fact that AG in particular have now jumped on the duty of care bandwagon and are turning loads down due to their time out of the mil and lack of experience.

Relevant deployment history generally means , NI (pre ceasefire) , probably accounts for your 40+ ex cops .... Kosovo , Bosnia , Iraq , Afghan , Sierra Leone and a few others will be deemed as relevant. obviously a HE course is not the be all and end all , but if you dont fall into the above categories it can assist ... but make sure it has live fire exercises??? After all without it would be a tad useless on your CV.... "havent been in the mil for 15 years but fired poof soft on my HE course..." sort of statement!!

Keep sending out CVs , if you are not getting a bite ask for feedback and see if you are wasting your time.

From a personal note I disagree with the 5 yrs thing etc... anyone who worked in AG convoys with some of the old hard chargers like Andy W etc know what I mean!!!

Hello, I'm looking for the guy that ordered a massive plug....., anyone here order a gigantic plug?....., anyone?.......;)

sorry morrigan ... this was a pukka answer to a guys question , totally off company time ... so **** off and let me have some Mick time !!!!

Nice - plug or no plug it fills a gap in my knowledge (pun intended!).

Morrigan or mickworldwide... a pm with references to successful employment would be appreciated, obviously allowing for opsec.

Butts

Sorry to say we don't do testimonials , IMO and in that of the company owners they are walt... After all I could send you Schindlers list of:
' top , best course in the world ... M and DJ , best instructors on the planet.... what you dont learn here isnt worth knowing... got offered a job with XYZ as the new CEO ... thanks guys ... will come back for space shuttle tail gunner course next may....J EX 22 ' sort of thing which I and my granny wrote last night.

We prefer that people who do our courses speak about them for themselves, look around the site , there are many who have done a course with Morrigan Solutions , many of whom went on to gain employment, if you have any questions etc please feel free to call us , we are site sponsors here , we are not likely to tell you something that isnt gen ... after all it would be all over here like wild fire.

Whilst I would like to walt on and say that 100% of the guys who have got work is down to our course etc, truth is that many of these guys and girls were extremely well versed and well drilled anyways and just needed:
a) a refresher for their own piece of mind
b) an insight into current tactics
c) hadn't used xyz weapon and felt they wanted to learn it prior to deployment
d) felt the need to come and fill an obvious gap in their CV??
e) they felt rusty and were diligent enough to take some training to sharpen up prior to deployment.

We do assist former students by pointing them in the right direction where we know recruitment is occurring etc. We assist CV construction, we on occasion use some ourselves when the need occurs.

As I said though please ask around , use search on the site etc.....

Cheers

That is a very good call, and your points A to E fit exactly why I am looking at doing a course, in particular something along the lines of a HECPO course.

A quick question... I'm from Ukraine. Was PSD TL in Iraq since 2003 until 2008. Fluent in English, French, Russian and Arabic. 10 years in military. Been unemployed since April 2008. I was desperately trying to find a job but with no success. Unfortunately, I don't have a SIA license. Is that part of my problem with getting back in baggers or it's something else ? I'm just asking be cause if it is, then I will have to prepare a large ammount of money and go to SA for Ronin course.

Thanks for your help in advance.
