Has anyone used one of these? Any intel on its ability to withstand vibration, heat etc. I am intending to use it in a Macgyvering kind of way as a GPS locator for the ZX12R. I have spent too much T&E to risk allowing some scumbag half inching it and not getting the 'Good news' from Moi when I pop up at their AO.

Yes I know it should be in another section. But this is for the petrol heads amongst us. Hence the intel will benefit those it is relevant too in the motorcycle/car/ vehicle areas.

If there are any other products better suited. Please let us know.

Thanks for looking, now sod off and make me/offer me advice on one.....;)

PS: Vis, pm me if you can make me something up out of bits of copper wire, a magnet and paper mache!! :D

Not too fussed about battery life mate. It will only go out in decent weather and to events etc. Both it and the Gixxer have too much power to make them any fun in the rain etc. Learnt that years ago riding the CBX1000 to work every day, come rain, sleet or shine.

It also has to be small enough to locate in a usable area, signal, interference etc. As well as making it look a part of the PC111 package to avoid it being detected too easily. I think I will go for it and I can still use it for tasks etc when the ZX is safely under lock and key and certain camera systems! ;)

I will report back on it's usability in the upcoming weeks/months.

Cheers.
