Does anyone have a list of companies in the UK and NI that provide Cash In Transit services (to save me a lot of time researching!). I am new to this area and may have a proposition for them following on from a recent business meeting with a niche manufacturer and supplier. This in turn could generate some job postings on the forum.

Hi,

It would be rather a long list as it is listed on a lot of company's webpages. In the tracking market there are a lot of people selling re branded products from other suppliers. Most of the cash in transit have fleet management gps based systems allready.

However as I am sure you have seen there is movement in putting devices in the high value loads themselves, The companies which provide this are specialized and useually do this on a project basis rather than a "generalized product".

The best approach i would suggest is to look at the asset trace and recovery companies to get a feel for the competition. They are the poeple that are using the systems and know whats actually out there and working the field with success.
