no sorry they are not..... its up to the individual them selfs to find the best match for them :D

and if you say that they are the best then what experience do you have of the others?
:)....

Cheers,
Clyde.
Hi clyde put it this way when i was doing my training a guy came 2 the ntipdu he had done his course at nasdu and when he saw what i had done at the ntipdu he booked a course the week after at the ntipdu, as he said he did not do a lot of thing on the nasdu course as i did on the ntipdu course.

gsdk9master with reference to your quote on NASDU / NTIPDU it depends on the trainer in question, its like all walks of life 'there are some good and some bad and some fu"$8@ng attrocious'.

Ideally the two associations have the same principles to the training of handlers (which is good) but are run slightly differently.

I have trained with the N.T.I.P. D.U and N.A.S.D.U. trainers and been a member of both organisations, with the above experience, I can say with knowledge that training with the N.T.I.P.D.U for me was far more beneficial. The aftercare and support is brilliant, I can ring them day or night and they are always at the end of the phone with help.

NTIPDU I can say are not fat cats, far from it, because I had been so ripped off by others they gave me a puppy for free from their line and I have trained it myself, now my dog has been passed for operational work. Nothing fat in that.

thats good u can say N.T.I.P.D.U gave u a pup free and that you made it an operational dog could u tell me who passed the dog ? and for what operational work ? as this is good u have did this ur self good one this is a letter i sent to N.T.I.P.U feel free to copy this and send it to N.T.I.P.D.U. MR Charles Wall was the honest guy in this that was on the phone to me not N.T.I.P.D.U I WONDER WHY

Aset Level 2 - Why are you paying money to these people when all they do is lie? NASDU - i have personally challenged this man to do reality training and i would cover his every cost. its time you got rid of these bampots - i don't do security and have no interest but what i say is 110% right and it can be proved.

In regards to NTIPDU - Charles Wall phoned me to tell me Karen Hayes aka Fox was being passed for her accreditation to allow her to set up a training centre in Scotland. When I pointed out her kennel 'foxburn kennels' in Dunfermline had been closed down for cruelty to animals and her hubby has served 3 yrs for smuggling drugs into the country. They tried to deny she was down there on a course but there was someone on a course running alongside hers.

I pointed this out to Charles Wall A1K9 who has the accreditations - i supplied him with all the relevant environmental health results which confirmed everything. I can back this up with the environmental health persons personal details.

All of this can be backed up with hard evidence - if i'm lying then legal action would have been taken against me long before now.

Anyone wanting these details can have it, as you are all due money back. As i say, and i repeat - if i am wrong they must take legal action against me. How can you trust people to take control when they are not in control of their own choices?

spec :'I don't do security and have no interest'

Why are you on a security site then mate?

Spec: 'i have personally challenged this man to do reality training'

Can you elaborate on 'reality training'? and what man?

I notice the pictures on your album, is that reality training a dog attacking someone on a car?

K9

'I don't do security as in i dont go about a building site with a dog i train ppd dogs for others to do security . is that reality training a dog attacking someone on a car? yes its not a guard dog as u know some dogs whose function is to give alarm some dogs give alarm and offers some physical threat to an intruder .reality training is what it says on the can.. like i say where do u do shc training in a field were do u do Reality training any where in the world . i see and hear of women and man getting Ripped off in the security (k9) side by nasdu and ntipdu every day and its sad iam ok i have my self booked till next yr i all so have a good breeding program for operational dogs as all my pups are booked for security and the armed response its not all about money to me mate as some that are on this forum that train with me will tell u i like to help as iam 53 yrs old so i like to see the young ones that come in to this game (k9 security) get on their feet i dont take £728 for a 5 day k9 security course on a building site i teach suspicion but not with a fear based reaction and for free if u are up in scotland and would like to do some Reality scenario k9 work come and see us i have two ex RAF and one Army Examiners work with us sorry one RAF Examiner the other one was raf (police) all so we have a Human remains Handler (cadaver) we are just a bunch of men and women that love reality training some for security and some for operational work and guys like me that like to do this to help the security of this crazy world and the good bit for me is i can do it for free . i hope this helps sorry i dont spell to good the dogs dont know this so dont tell them

The problem lies in 'unscrupulous' trainers ripping people off not the associations.

When a person goes to the trainer they pay the trainer whether they be a NASDU / NTIPDU / BIPDT or whatever, the trainer sets his amount or daily rate, which does not go to the associations but the trainer, all the handler would pay for is maybe membership and for the certificate.

A good bonafide trainer will invite you down, would not be bothered if you turned up unnanounced to view a training day (health & safety permitting) and maybe even tell you to 'shop around', let you have some information on him and his activities. We have mentioned this be before in other threads 'shop around' because at the end of the day you are parting with your 'hard earned' cash.

For someone 'jaune' to do a 5 day course and become a 'dog handler' is ludicrous and I agree with you totally, not enough time, never mind the £728. Then you would have the dog on top £££££s

The reason I asked about the 'reality' training (which you took offence at due to the amount of bold text) is that there are some trainers that do all these car attacks etc as part of a 'basic' course and it gives out the wrong impression to someone new coming into the industry as thats what its not all about.

We had a guy who came to us (no longer with us, though not for this reason) and he did not even know the basic principles of how to groom or maintain his dog, how can you work a dog operationally if you dont know the first thing about it? I cringed when we done some manwork and some scenarios on location, because he had not a clue of the basic do's & don'ts.

The fact is all he done on a course was biting, sleevework, biting sleevework............... If we had a situation where his dog had been involved then I would probably be on 'D' wing at Walton Prison doing a 10 stretch for 'manslaughter' right now, being sued by someone!!!

No one is denying that you are not an experienced trainer, or have the staff with you and their expertise (I dont know you or them) and I was not asking for you to justify yourself, just wanted know where you would use this 'reality' training in the security industry (which you explained).

Personally I think with the associations available at present they are a 'neccesity' just in case the license for a security dog handler does eventually happen as my company is in one of them.

Just one on the 'building sites' neither do I or we, it aint the 80's where we sing 'accapella', dressed in a 'donkey jacket' around an 'upturned oil drum on fire'. I think the industry's (especially the dog sector) come on a bit since then.

(which you took offence at due to the amount of bold text)

honest i never... iam DIABETES some times i have to write that way so i can see it my self

Now I am sure I have seen their name before somewhere.... where was it.... let me think?.....
Also... you made comments about NTIPDU.... I detected some bitterness there...
Has there perhaps been a falling out between yourself and these folk?
hence the quote from the nasdu website:

"NASDU IS NOT CONNECTED TO CANINE SECURITY OF LEIGHTON BUZZARD OR PERSONAL PROTECTION DOGS.NET/K9 SALTIRE SECURITY OF SCOTLAND, THEY ARE NOT NASDU MEMBERS OR ACCREDITED TRAINERS, THEY HAVE IN THE PAST AND MAY STILL BE USING THE NASDU LOGO WITHOUT AUTHORISATION.
NASDU HAS ENDEAVOURED TO SPEAK TO BOTH ORGANISATIONS WITHOUT SUCCESS. PLEASE CONTACT US AND THE TRADING STANDARDS DEPARTMENT IF YOU WISH TO MAKE A COMPLAINT.

THIS DISCLAIMER IS ISSUED AS A JOINT STATEMENT WITH THE NTIPDU."

Just in case you weren't aware, they have the preceeding statement on the front page of NASDU website.
Being put in the same bracket as Mr Kaye is surely not a good thing for any company.

I would challenge them if I were you, as it makes your company sound as if it is unreputable.

Kindest regards,
Clyde

I pointed this out to Charles Wall A1K9 who has the accreditations - i supplied him with all the relevant environmental health results which confirmed everything. I can back this up with the environmental health persons personal details.

All of this can be backed up with hard evidence and any way few nowadays wouldnt have a clue who NASDU, NTIPDU, BIPDT are.

1/ Asset level 2 is not Security Dog or Handler related / job specific
