Heading for CPO & PMC

Hello,
I am here because I am gathering information and researching as I am planning on using a diverse life experience and higher education plus my MMA/fitness to first take a CPO and then a PMC course in 2025. Saving funds.

I had a very brief stint in RAF regiment late 80s. Nothing to talk about but I gained an interest inilitary again but not before age-restriction didn't allow me to re-enlist. Ultimately I want to work in a profession that utilizes all my experience and knowledge and is bigger than myself.
I believe I have all the necessary qualities that would make me perfect for security, protection and associated work.

I already work on a military base in Cyprus so I have plenty of advice and information.
Anyone else with useful information is welcome.
Cheers

First where in the world do you wish to operate and exactly with what? In various parts of the world there are different rules and laws, so fid that out first. If you go to work with british companies I suggest you do take on training from someone that been around and actually employ students companies like Control Risk Group, G4S, etc..the other training companies dont give shit in your suscess they sell cources and that why we see new companies running a few year, and then another etc since they just squeze the money from you.
Myself had 6 HE contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan between 2007-2013 and many more own projects, still I had no British SIA cp license, but had Swedish regulated cp training, and firearms, police, military training with medical training. The big money is gone, the good rotation likewize, and many countries stopped trading in various hotspots ex Afghanistan. It was difficult to get out in the past some jobs had 2000 applications for 1 position still in many ways it was more easy in the past. If you had the right background, had the contacts and could be vetted by other operators.
