Hours?

Performance has little to do with it short term, you get paid what your are offered or you refuse and the next guy does it.

Hours depend on the job, from a few, to eighteen plus ...for a daily rate that does not change.

If a person comes to me and they perform poorly they will not have the job much longer and if they keep those actions up they will be in search of a new career. Perhaps that has to do with the areas we operate in and the manner of work.

Context is wrong; you suggest pay depends on performance, not having a job depending on performance. It should go without saying that performing poorly endangers the job and getting paid at all; which was not the question anyway.

We all in the first instance, get paid what we are offered.

Nice contradiction, before performance had little to do with it! It is very clear that you have never worked with in E.R.S. I suppose though if you are dependent on a MR than perhaps.

God luck with that.

I am not contradicting myself at all.

Initially whats offered you accept. If you don't you don't get the job. If you do and you perform poorly, you lose the job and don't get paid at all. Quite clear enough I would have thought.

Performance related pay is not something I've ever had on a contract and generally is not how the system works.

WTF? "if you perform poorly you lose the job and don't get paid at all" ?! What kind of contract should that be? If you sign up hourly-pay based contract, you'll get paid for those hours you've worked, even if you get cought sleeping and they boot you out.

Im speaking in general terms. Of course you *should* get paid for what you have done though it certainly does happen that dismissed people may come up a few pounds short.

Can someone answer the questions please?
Whats an average hourly rate, shift length?
And whats ERS?

Thanks

Try saying what area you are asking the question about...it may help, be specific if you want a specific answer and even then its unlikely as its so diverse.

Just accept generally it's a lot of hours for a set daily rate. Hours depend on what your doing or who you are working for, so asking for an average is sadly not that easy to do.

Retail security and manned guarding etc is probably more structured i suppose where you have set hours for a week, CP you do what your asked to do and work as long as the client needs you to work. So if your looking for a nice comfy gig where you get home and see your wife who has dinner on the table for you at a set time, and you get to put your kids to bed then possibly Cp isn't the way to go.

Every job is going to be different thats all anyone can say with honesty and conviction.

Annie, the original question was relatively clear...but not answered.

As to having a wife and kids lmao... my ex husband never had dinner on the table, should have gone for a house keeper the first time, at least she knows where the washing machine is and how many kids are in the house.

The section Im in is CVIT so Im asking about this area can anyone tell me what the average hours and pay is within CVIT.
If I need to be more discript than that whats hours and wages on armoured vehicles taking cash??
