Joining without residing in the UK

Hello, I want to join the British armed forces, I'm draw to the RAF, I was reading you can join as a Commonwealth citizen, I have dual citizenship (Trinidadian and Spanish). I wondered if there is a chance that the army would skip the residency requirements since I'm not currently residing in the UK, and they ask for 5 years.

I'm 23.

Thank you for any guidance you can provide.

X2 on that one. Similar story, EU citizen (Bulgaria), currently working in Iraq as PSD, served in the Bulgarian military. Will be moving to the UK at the end of the year, and as far as I understood from the BA website, there aint much I can do except wait 6 years to get citizenship, and eventually sign up, if I'm not over the age limit(25 years old at this moment). I want to ask here, cause I suppose there are a lot of people still serving, is there any other way, besides 5 years residency+1 for citizenship application. Any advice is welcome.
