Good advice there. It will be interesting to read current views on this important topic.Ok. I figured. Go to the forum, introduce yourself, then ask about locating a trainer. Anyone suggested is usually someone you can trust. The members there are pretty straightforward so if a shite trainer is recommended someone will point that out. Try to get one of the many trainers that are on that board. I have conversed with nearly all of them and they know their stuff. You need to be honest in what your expectations are and why the dog was washed out. A proper test of the dog is imperative if you are considering doing personal protection training with her. Some dogs are just happier to be pets than man eaters. To force a dog to do protection work when they do not have the temperment will cause behavoral problems and liability of a bad bite can go up. Take the trainer's advice. She is what she is. Do not push her beyond her capabilities.
