Hi Fellow members,

After reading a few posts asking for Kit lists please see attached a list I posted on this forum some time ago.

Tailor the equipment to your own needs, as it is not exhaustive, and tailor to the environment you are deploying into.

Why is INFLATABLE rollmat recomended? It's heavier, more prone to damage (puncture) and generally uncomfortable for field use.
Or is there something I'm missing here?

Yes slightly heavier bit this is countered by the fact that they pack down alot smaller than normal rollmats. When are they uncomfy?

The only drama with them is they can be prone to puncture if you are clumsy where you choose to doss.

Should the clothing be of any special material or does it not really matter? I've seen some which are flame resistant, flame retardant and slash resistant etc.
