HSE Offshore Medic Available for remote/Offshore work, Ex army medic, SIA licence (DS only), in date BOSIET/HUET/CA-EBS/UKOAA medical. no NEBOSH. 6 years of experience in hospital and Pre-hospital healthcare setting. University education.
In date PHTLS, ALS, ATCN All skillset daily used and skills refresher completed last month at MKGH. full documentations available.
Skills up to ETT, Surgical airways, wound closure/suturing, Ultrasound e-FAST / guided cannulation, Arterial and central lines, X-rays diagnostics (up to Bones, lungs and cardiac).
Working full time for the South Central Ambulance Service. 3 years in UK in prehospital care, 4 years experience in remote/disaster medicine with the Italian Red cross, ex HEMS mountain rescue operator (Italy), recent search and rescue operations in Mediterranean as Offshore medic. No previous experiences on oil rigs. Only SAR/ERRV/commercial/cruise vessels. To be registered in Dec 2016 as HCPC paramedic.
I am looking for a temporary position only until the 1st of October. Not interested in Full time positions. Ready to deploy within 24 hours.
