The British Army has its own close protection unit.

Members of the special forces privide there own in house courses.

Another is the Royal Military Police Close Protection Unit (CPU) who carry out close protection training for members of the Royal Military Police, Royal Marine Police and Royal Airforce Police.

Their roles are to protect diplomats on foreign soil, high ranking British Military commanders and VIP's that may be visiting operational area's.
