Mso courses

Hi guys I'm looking for some advice. I'm looking into doing a mso course to ultimately start a new career. I have been looking at esa in Poland as they seem to run a good comprehensive package. They also claim to help you possibly secure work. What do yous think my chances are of securing full time work and do you recommend esa or any other companies to do the course with. Is there any mso company's who are good for new starters. I don't have a armed forces background . Thanks

If you are not ex forces (min 4 yrs) then you will have no chance and no respectable Maritime company will touch you.

I'm also considering ESA, any thoughts about them? My 4 year contract ends soon and I don't want to work myself to the bone for scraps anymore... I've talked to one guy from Croatia who's a maritime operator and he managed to get into the business without any military experience, any thoughts on that?

Yeah, but military experience is irrelevant if you manage to acquire lots of experience, right? It's tougher to break into the business, but in the end it's not impossible?

Dont think TB is talking about individuals here, he is talking about the company. I thought the use of the word 'shit' was quite polite in the circumstances :) I was thinking more along the lines of w@nk.

If you want to break into maritime security you will be using weapons of different calibres, now where in civvy street are you going to get the experience of using these weapons and the knowhow on how they work etc. The simple fact is, you will not and this is the main reason why PMSC's will not touch you.

NO MILITARY EXPERIENCE, you can use all the weapons you want in civvy street and have all the small arms courses, but no reputable PMSC will touch you without a minimum of 4 yrs military experience, SIMPLES.
