I'm an ex Canadian combat engineer, i've done as much research as I can in relevance to the CP world. I have no official tours, Canada has a tenancy to turn their "operations" into training missions half way through so you no longer get medals, or any type of recognition for it. for example the early stages of Poland and Ukraine. When a lot of us went in the early times it was a training mission or "exercise" now its an actual operation. What would anyone suggest for someone in my shoes. 4 years as a combat engineer, many certifications like CQC, basic demo, munitions and bomb disposal (light degree) mine route clearance etc. all kinds of information is appreciated. anything from where to start, to employment opportunities, to how much work is even available.
