Nurse moving to UK

Dear colleagues,

First of all sorry me if I use this section of the forum for this message, but I don't know where to write it.
I am a young nurse with a background in emergency, in the army and with a SIA CP course attended in UK. It is quite sure I will move to UK for the end of the year to work in an A&E close to London. I have some questions for you:
1 I didn't obtained the CP SIA badge for papers problems and I have attended the course more than three years ago. Have I to attend another course?
2 do you know when will be the next cpworld meeting?
3 is there some medics and cp officers available to network with me in the area?

Thanks a lot

I'll say it first...

Are you hot? Pictures help us to decide.

Are you drunk? That user is a guy. LOL

You stick around on here and keep networking and you will meet plenty of people. From the looks of things maybe even another guy.

Ahahah I am sorry, I love British blonde girls with big boobs! :D but I will present you some female colleagues if you come to the A&E. Some nurses are very hot, but I avoid them because I don't like to speak about patients, catheterisation and work stuff all the day.

Good to know mate, I do not think an Italian Man coupled with a NI Man would be a good mix. Last time that happened a place called New York city sprung up over night.

To answer your first question:

According to the SIA
"Only full certification from one of the listed qualifications accepted for SIA licensing offered by an endorsed awarding organisation, will be acceptable evidence of meeting the competency criteria for a front line licence This qualification must have been achieved no more than three years before the licence application."

I would contact the SIA and explain your situation, they may give you some leeway.

Thank you Sabre. I will contact them, in the worst case I will attend again the course maybe with a cheaper company in London.
