Looking to recruit an *Operations Researcher* to join the existing research and operations team based in the Joint Operations Centre to assist with the delivery of a range of 24/7 monitoring and support services to operational teams, clients and business travellers throughout the world.
This is a permanent on-site full-time position based in the Joint Operations Centre, responsible for the provision of these 24/7/365 first-line services to clients across all security service areas – travel safe, close protection, tracking, investigations, surveillance, crisis management and emergency helplines. Previous operations and / or experience of working in a similar operational environment managing front-line support response services with International experience is desirable but not essential. In addition, a good level of IT literacy is essential and the ability to speak an additional European language, particularly German, is preferred, but also not essential.
The role will require candidates to work on a shift / rota basis of 12-hours, including night shifts, working at weekends and on public holidays in order to maintain the 24/7/365 service required for clients. We are looking for individuals who are flexible, have a strong ‘can do’ attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The role is challenging, often with demanding and pressurised delivery timelines – the ability to be able to deliver in these types of conditions is critical; being able to work as part of a team and to be a proactive ‘self-starter’ is also required. Previous research and / or operational experience is an advantage, particularly within an operations centre / environment in a front-line support response role delivering similar tasks, although this is not essential as training will be given.
