Please don't slag off companies - heres why

please bear with me im a bit of a newbie on this forum but having spent time reading several of the threads on here Im confused that several contributers specifically ask for suggestions as to good companies to work for or companies to provide training and obviously go with what has been suggested, however my claim would be if i have had a bad almost criminal experience with a company or individual (which i have) and i see others on here extolling the virtues of such a person/company, why should i not try and express my opinion as to the suitability of said company or individual, as ther is no check that the individual is not writing his or her own advertisment fishing for business. i also understand the other side of the story about false allegations for whatever reason, but when an operator keeps assests offshore there is very little to be gained from legal redress.
perhaps there should be a thread specifically for letting off steam and let contributers make up their own minds.

Hello all,
because I am new I still don't know if I can find here on this forum information about surveillance and methodology about it.
Anything useful for preparation CISSP exam.

Thank you in advance.
Best regards.

Well, you're in the right place. Welcome to the forum.

You'll find the 'Search bar', somewhere top right of your screen. That'll be a good start. :)

How about clicking on that button labelled "Forums" then scrolling down to the surveillance section. Did this course you're on cover anything about doing research?

When I said you we're in the right place, I referred to the fact that you had found CloseProtectionWorld, regrettably you chose to post your request in the wrong area. Please study the options and repost.

Fortunately Goran, we're nothing like security2all.

You seem to have landed among a bunch of professionals.

We have a number of forums where our members discuss various aspects of surveillance techniques and methodology. The number of links you found reflect the diverse nature of our members and our respective fields of expertise, most will be worthy of exploration.

Learning ones craft can entail searching threads which seem to have no direct connection to your original enquiry. This is where, and why, one learns to compose 'search strings'. :)

Visioneer,
There is research involved with surveillance, covert observation careers? Maybe thats why i have had a hard time with gainfull employment. Ha!

Could try Wikipedia :)

...or that very helpful security2all site.

......and in the UK our local jobcentres are only too happy to direct jobhunters into the security industry and the ads in our free press offering lucrative careers as a 'private investigator. :(

oops, sorry guys, you can get back on topic now ! :)
