Wee quick question here, I'm close to retirement anyway but hopefully someone here will know the answer seeing the infamous SIA don't answer their phones anymore....

The question is, my license is up for renewal shortly, SIA will still keep the £220 granted or refused as we all know. I have no criminal record but I am diagnosed PTSD, so should I renew or not? Do they get in touch with your GP?

Advice would be appreciated.

Never volunteer. If you are not asked if you have PTSD, don't tell them. No-one can contact your doctor without your explicit written permission

They will not contact your GP all they want is you fee, and as SCT said there is no way to access your medical history without your prior consent.
