Job Description

Minimal Risk are recruiting for a Risk Consultant for a small tech minded business who have a heavy focus on cultural morality. The successful candidate must feel comfortable in a corporate surrounding, albeit very relaxed and agile.

We are looking for candidates who have all or most of the below competencies:

  • Excellent Physical Security knowledge: capable of confidently conducting a Threat and Vulnerability review for example, recommending risk-based mitigations and explaining holistic protection for a variety of facilities/organisations/risk appetites.
  • Excellent content presentation: Able to write a professional report/proposal/solution design; (language ability is as important as knowledge of holistic security design here).
The following attributes are desirable, although for the right candidate, the Company are wiling to provide commercial mentoring and guidance:

  • Confident client-facing skills: capable of chairing meetings, delivering presentations, describing security solutions with passion and knowledge, carefully navigating conversations with clients about risk and protection.
  • Sound commercial/sales knowledge: confident with various pricing models, able to confidently negotiate, comfortable with the sales cycle (pitching/tender design/closing techniques) - note: this isn’t prospecting/hunting/transactional sales, it's more strategic solution design.
  • Sound understanding of manned guarding/security officer KPI's and service deliverables.
Position would suit ex Int Corps, LCpl/Cpl/SNCO or experienced risk manager.
This is a home based role, but you would need to go into the London based HQ (Farringdon) about once a week.

Part of the job is to travel throughout the UK undertaking client visits and audits. There will be no car package but mileage and hotel expenses will be covered.

Requirement: to start as soon as possible.

Pay Rate: negotiable depending on experience and capability of applicant.

Qualifications
Experience of
OPMI 3 training from ex Int Corps
Memberships of SABRE, ASIS and/or Security Institute
Bream
Or equivalent security and risk management training or experience will be considered.
