Sense prevails in the Czech Republic

NO, it will NOT

While Poland and Czech republic may seem the last gun havens the 99% of EU politicians and other leeches keep on going and going in the other direction, restricting the self defense (Italy not far ago got to make legal the home defense JUST at night!!) and not realizing that a tool is not to be blamed for the user´s actions.

You know and sure as hell have read it a million times, but if you get the "good" citizens unarmed only the "bad" ones will have guns (example UK) and this goes for ever.
Why do you need to carry a weapon ? because I can not carry a cop...

Get your criminal records, get your mental records, medical records, licensing... but allow the people to do something instead of just running scared to the closest phone AFTER bad thing occur to them.

It is insane that most of Europe is always crying for human rights world wide, yet do not allow their own citizens to protect themselves against the evils in this world. The right of self protection is a human right that should not be violated.

Czechia has traditionally been an armed nation. The Nazi's invaded Czechslovakia not just because they weren't satisfied enough with the Sudetenland but because of the weapons factories. The nation had long armed Europe and that fact remains today. It's supposed to be the most armed European nation and allows for concealed carry, however this attitude is limited only to itself, and a handful of its neighbours to a lesser extent.

Czechs have long had a right to bear arms, this is merely a constitutional guarantee!

In most of Europe, there's little reason in carrying a weapon in everyday life with you as you won't ever need it, with some exceptions such as the North of Ireland (where terrorist groups are still active). Unlike the US where there are guns everywhere, Europe, despite what Fox News says, there's not that many about that are easy to obtain, Sure if you know the right person you can get one, but the same can be said for anywhere even somewhere like North Korea which is said to be highly restrictive with regards to firearms (to make it easier to quell a proletarian revolution, rather ironically).

Northern Ireland???

WTF are you talking about?

Bona Fide Terror attacks in London/Barcelona/Paris/Frankfurt/Brussels/Nice in the last couple of years and you refer to NI as the one place in Europe where it might be necessary to carry a weapon!!!!

The RA in its various guises and splinter groups are only fighting with each other and the scumbag organised crime lackeys that peddle their drugs and launder their money.

For someone who seems somewhat intelligent you have been making some wildly sweeping assumptions and statements on various posts today...I suggest you go troll somewhere else.

I can not believe that anybody on this forum can say that a civilian in Europe does not need a firearm. All good law obeying citizens should have this right . Its unbelievable that the people of Europe are willing to allow such a pacifist mindset to take place. They must have forgotten WW2. I especially cant believe that the French do not have better armed civilians since they learned first hand that the need for an armed civilian occupation is the key to freedom. Yea, many will argue that we live in a different time however all it takes is one evil little bastard to change all of this.
