I hope I can find the right answers as I get tired searching the web.
My name is Sharif. I live and work in London. For 15 years I worked for the MET as intelligence department. Now I am off work due to financial issues within the MET, I accept redundancy. I enrolled myself with security courses as it's the closest to what I know as police staff.
I finished the first 2 courses as Door supervisor, CCTV and at the moment I started Close protection course.
I start thinking of starting my own security company. I have some ideas regarding the complications regarding the industry - all from the net
- but I really need good, decent and honest advice about:
1. The real complications of the industry?
2. The best way starting small business?
3. Is there anywhere to help starting a business?
4. Where to get subcontracting companies?
I am sure there are still many more questions, but I was excited to finally find this forum after spending weeks and long hours reading different topics.
