Hi All

Was told about this earlier today. Operations and Training Manager for Securewest International. A company that deal with maritime security.
I've worked with and trained with Securewest in the past and their training and general admin is first class. The pay is somewhat on the low side, however, as i'm sure some can concur. Its a UK based role, in Kingsbridge, Devon with travel involved.

Most of the guys who seem to work for them have a full military pension and only work on an adhoc basis. Might suit somebody local who has decided to hang up the guns so to speak.

A vacancy exists at Securewest International (SWI) to join our Operations and Training department as the Operations and Training Manager, based in Kingsbridge, Devon. The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President Operations (UK) and will be responsible for assisting with the operational delivery of deployments and training from UK and overseas. Candidates should be qualified to deliver ISPS training, which will include ISPS awareness through to Ship and Company Security Officer courses. Additionally, there is a requirement to have Military Weapon and Force Protection instructor experience in order to support a new worldwide training initiative. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good managerial and communication skills, be a team player and able to deliver interesting and thought provoking training. Commercial experience in the maritime industry would be an advantage. Some travel will be necessary.
