Did anyone else see the TV programme the other night called 'ultimate soldier challenge'? The History Channel I think. I caught it about five minutes in.
R.A.F. Regiment versus US Army Rangers and a team made up of ex-Spetnatz and American hostile CP?
Naturally the Regiment won, beating the Rangers in a final hostage rescue situation, showing sheer grit, aggression, determination and cool headed tactics.
A good programme but notable more for the fact that the Regiment was featured so prominently and in such admiring tones. Not often that is the case. I think they go through to a grand final. It was good to see and even better the hear the 'Per Ardua' used with such admiration by the commentator and the other competitors. Well done our boys.
Doe's anyone know who they were by the way? I'll look on some other sites but it would be interesting to know.
