That makes no sense at all. Are you saying that there is a file somewhere that needs to get to your collegue, or a file you have that needs put into .pdf format or that your colleague is due to give a lecture and doesn't know what he is talking about so needs someone to send him a briefing?

I'm sure that with my degree in Computing, level 3 quals in CP and surveillance and experience at providing security at everything from a bog standard factory to one of the countries most highly protected commercial sites, I have no idea what I'm talking about. 
There is a huge problem in every industry these days with people managing to look like they know what they are talking about by going through some presentation taken from somewhere else. As long as the audience knows less than they do, or are told not to question or challenge the "expert" they get away with it.

Well let's break down the message (without the punctuation). 1, the person posting the enquiry needs our assistance. 2. He requires a PDF file in English. 3. " or other means" well at that stage I am totally lost......maybe the person posting the request can read clingon. 4. " who has to give a lecture on factory security". So now we have found out what the subject matter is. 5." The country I am in does not have access" ....to the factory, pdf? 6. " he is giving the lecture at 12:00 this afternoon". So at this point I am thinking of the 6 p's.......and at the end of the message the message states that somewhere in the world a country is 6 hours behind the United Kingdom. So if any of us kind, knowledgable, folk can send this expert on factory security their findings then that would be good.......and by the way can I copy your homework as well........

The colleague obviously knows F all on the subject he is giving a lecture on and his preparation is up his ass leaving it that late to ask for help..
Your right, your not my pal and therefore shouldn't expect help from me, my pals have what is required without the need to ask
