HEAD OF GROUP SECURITY
JOB PURPOSE
To develop, promote and maintain the highest level of security standards and best practices within Brink’s Ireland Ltd. by focusing on risk management and the General Security Regulations. To enforce the companies’ policy’s and procedures by effective policing and monitoring. To manage risk assessments and minimise the threat to our employees and liability, conduct investigations, and complete detailed and accurate reports on audits, raids and internal losses.

JOB PURPOSE
To develop, promote and maintain the highest level of security standards and best practices within Brink’s Ireland Ltd. by focusing on risk management and the General Security Regulations. To manage risk assessments and minimise the threat to our employees and liability, conduct investigations, and complete detailed and accurate reports on audits, raids and internal losses.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven investigation and interview skills (security, law enforcement preferred)
- Ex Gardai / Police an advantage
- At least 3 years experience within a recognised security role (Management)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Computer literate (Microsoft applications) with an analytical mind
- Ability to complete internal audits against BS/ISO standards
- Knowledge of Cash Handling and or CIT operations an advantage
- Clean driving licence
- Fluent English (in writing and speaking)

- The ability to liase with law enforcement agencies in order to create and maintain regular contact, with the aim of developing more effective attack/loss prevention and detection.
- Carry out set tasks in a professional manner in line with Company protocol and in a timely manner, submitting full reports as required.
- Self-motivation and drive, including attendance and inspection within a set time frame.
