the better company's pay 8.56 an hour, the rest ones about 8£

ITS NOT WORTH IT:)

The Post Office have a cash in transit section. They pay £11.20 per hour. After tax on a totally flat week (37.5 hours no overtime) I get £337.47p. Most weeks on average I get around £400 after tax, and I don't really do alot of overtime.

They have a website http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/po . In the old days they used to recruit exclusively inhouse from Royal Mail staff, postmen etc. These days they seem to just place an add in the local papers and the local jobcentres. Due to the high wages and easier workload than other CVIT companies, (cos of the union), we have a very low turnover of staff, people tend to stick around. I see you live in Hampshire, so your closest depot would be the Central London depot at the Nine Elms mail centre in the shadow of Battersea power station. Alternatively a large depot at Bristol, 2 small depots at Bornemouth and Eastbourne.
