The world faces a set of risks that feel both wholly new and eerily familiar. The Global Risks Report 2023 explores some of the most severe risks we may face over the next decade. As we stand on the edge of a low-growth and low-cooperation era, tougher trade-offs risk eroding climate action, human development and future resilience.

I haven't made the time to read the pdf as it's simply too time consuming. My guesstimate of the years from now leading up to 2030 are another pandemic. More war and conflict (never ending). Possibly a Great Reset with a smidgen of eugenics added to the mix. Famine, mass migration and a gradual decline in populations. Apart from all that the future looks good for western civilisation! :)

Rather ironic the organisation that is influencing policies that increase global risks to health, food, fuel security and democracy think they are best placed to advise on the matter. If they were to be truly honest they should have included themselves in that list. Davos wasn't exactly carbon neutral after all!
